Because we’re in the heart of the town, you might want to consider arriving by train for a short break.  Heath Cottage is a 2 minute taxi drive or 15 minute walk from Stratford-upon-Avon railway station for trainlines which connect through Birmingham, or from London, Warwick Parkway is the best connected station and is about a 20 minute drive away. Ride services, such as Uber operate locally.

If you’re driving be aware that parking in Old Town is restricted Mon – Sat 8am – 8pm.  You can usually park close to the Cottage to unpack and load for 2 hours, or all day Sunday and bank holidays without restriction.  We have arranged for a parking space a couple of streets away for one car free of charge, further details will be provided upon booking or enquiry.  If you visit local attractions by car such as Warwick Castle, Anne Hathaway’s Cottage, Mary Arden’s House, Charlecote Park or go driving through the Cotswolds, these parking restrictions may not be an issue and another option is to use residential streets a little further away from the Cottage which are unrestricted.  There is also a Park and Ride, see www.visitstratforduponavon.co.uk/stratford-parking for further details, a NCP close by on Rother Street or the Leisure Centre has 24 hours parking which is 15 minutes walk away.
