Heath Cottages Privacy Notice

 

Heath Consulting & Enterprises Limited is the data controller and responsible for your personal data, referred to as "Heath Cottages", "we", "us" or "our" in this privacy notice.

 

Heath Cottages respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy notice will inform you as to how we look after your personal data.  We collect your name, telephone number, postcode and email address to facilitate your holiday let booking Heath Cottages.

 

Your email address is only used by Heath Cottages which is resident in the UK and is used on password-protected devices and a laptop protected by anti-virus software. Your personal data will be retained for 6 years to comply with accounting requirements for retention of sales data and will not be transferred outside the UK.  It is important that the personal data we hold about you is accurate and current. Please keep us informed if your personal data changes during your relationship with us.

 

You have the following rights in respect of your personal data:

• The right to have confirmation of the personal data we hold on you and the right to have a copy of that personal data
• The right to have your personal data amended
• The right to have your personal data deleted, subject to any rights we may have
• The right to have your data ported to another provider through .csv file
• The right to object to the processing of your personal data
• The right to restrict the processing of your personal data
• The right to withdraw your consent

We will only use your personal data for the purposes for which we collected it, unless we reasonably consider that we need to use it for another reason and that reason is compatible with the original purpose. If you wish to get an explanation as to how the processing for the new purpose is compatible with the original purpose, please contact us.  Please note that we may process your personal data without your knowledge or consent, in compliance with the above rules, where this is required or permitted by law.

We may share your personal data with our Housekeeper, our accountants, lawyers, booking agents and tax authorities for the purposes described in this privacy notice, and to third parties to whom we may choose to sell, transfer or merge parts of our business or our assets. If a change happens to our business, then the new owners may use your personal data in the same way as set out in this privacy policy.  We require all third parties to respect the security of your personal data and to treat it in accordance with the law. We do not allow our third-party service providers to use your personal data for their own purposes and only permit them to process your personal data for specified purposes and in accordance with our instructions

We use a tool called “Google Analytics” to collect information about your use of the Site. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users access the Site, what pages they visit when they do so, etc. We use the information we get from Google Analytics only to improve our Site and services. Google Analytics collects the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit sites, rather than your name or other identifying information. We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with personally identifiable information. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to this Site is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Use and the Google Privacy Policy.

 

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know. They will only process your personal data on our instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.  We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach where we are legally required to do so.
